18 Hours is a not-for-profit organisation, which delivers education, events and research with a focus on global citizenship and diversity.
Events: 18 Hours works with local, national and international clients to produce affordable, sustainable, memorable, quality and accessible commercial and community events such as festivals, concerts, fairs, celebrations and cultural happenings for people of all backgrounds and ages. We also produce our own annual events: Bexhill After Dark and Journeys Festival of Dance.
Our events are funded by national and local supporters, most of which are free to attend.
Education: 18 Hours is the Global Education Centre for East Sussex. We work with teachers to provide them with the skills, confidence and practical approaches to incorporate active global citizenship into their schools. Global education is an active and creative learning approach, inspiring students to become global citizens, effect social transformation and contribute to a more inclusive, peaceful, and sustainable world.
