Centenary Grant

Welcome to Bexhill Chamber of Commerce’s Centenary Year Celebrations
Bexhill chamber of commerce and tourism have liaised with the Ministry of Housing, Communities and Local Government (previously known as the Department of Levelling up, Housing and Communities) to make Levelling money available for Local Projects.
This is the “Bexhill Chamber of Commerce & Tourism Centenary Grant Fund”

We are now accepting applications for funding from businesses charities and social enterprises for projects that promote, help or support the business community to Bexhill. We are working in collaboration and in partnership with Dr Kieran Mullen – Bexhill & Battle MP, Rother District Council, Bexhill Town Council and Edeal to help deliver the best for our town.

We have £41, 000 to give away to our town!!

Anyone is able to apply for a Bexhill Chamber of Commerce Centenary Grant, however you must be able to demonstrate that you are able to deliver community or business related projects. The prime benefit of the fund should also be contained within the nine wards of Bexhill Town.

The use of this fund it as expansive as the imagination.

Our only pre-requisite is that the Bexhill Business Community must benefit in some way.

The money can be used to smarten up an area, or create a local asset within the public realm (providing permissions are in place). We are looking for long term sustainability and not a quick bang for the buck approach.

There is no upper limit for applications – Except for the fund limited - however projects will be evaluated based on their ability to drive footfall and improve business prospects in Bexhill.

We will expect a project plan to show how and when this will be delivered, but we are on a tight schedule to deliver results.

To make a request for funding please submit your proposal via the form link below.

Applications will be assessed in January, and you may be asked for more information.

The legal process around the grant will commence at the start of February, and a decision on your application will be awarded once that decision has been made.

Projects must be ready to commence by 31st March 2025.
